Just picked up my Mini R61S from these guys. First off I wanna say these guys are the real deal excellent work, great pricing, knowledgeable mechanic, great turnaround time and exactly how long they said it would take " We all know how rare that is" and a friendly outgoing staff. My paceman is running top notch and I couldn't be happier spending my money there. Would highly reccomend any and all BMW and Mini related repairs. I will not take my Mini anywhere else after dealing with these guys.

I just wanted to say thank you for the honest and prompt service. I have only owned a BMW for a short time and have felt like it was a mistake as I was accustomed to less high maintenance cars. Tyler has his mind on helping his clients instead of stuffing his own wallet. I have been dealing with frustrating oil leaks on my 2012 X5 for a few weeks now. After not being able to deal with the intense engine oil smell in the cabin, I decided to call around to a few BMW specialists in the area. While I'm sure that they are all qualified technicians, no one was even remotely as helpful as Tyler Wood, the owner of Wood's Werks. Being an amateur car enthusiast, I naturally had loads of questions for Tyler to answer. This included anything from whether a repair is necessary, or if I can save money on overlapping labor costs. Throughout the entire phone call, Tyler remained patient and only recommended services that he knew I NEEDED. This is so refreshing compared to an average repair shop or dealership. Although I haven't brought my X5 into Wood's Werks just yet, I am sure that when I do, it will be a fantastic experience. Tyler did a fantastic job of putting me at ease and giving me all the information I needed to make an informed decision. Thanks Tyler!

Nothing but great things to say about Wood's Werks. I brought my M2 in last week because I was having a minor fitment issue with my aftermarket exhaust. Although I probably could have went basically anywhere, I wanted to go to a BMW specific shop, rather than just a standard exhaust shop and I am glad I did. Mario, the mechanic that worked on my car was terrific, very talented, and extremely helpful. He listen to exactly what I wanted concerning the fitment and it was spot on. He even took me out the the shop to show me the finished fitment before lowing the car. A very respectful place. If looking for even simple fixes or upgrades for your BMW/Mini I would highly recommend Wood's Werks. I will definitely be back.

Joanna responded to my request for service quickly and was able to get my vehicle in within a couple days. The assessed my car and made sure I was aware of all costs prior to doing the work. They took the least expensive approach to a repair instead of starting at the most expensive in order to find out what was wrong! Tyler and his mechanics are very friendly as well!

I can’t say enough good things about the owners and employees of this shop. They always make sure I’m taken care of in a very timely manner and are always able to tackle any job I can’t complete myself. Joanna and Tyler are great! After moving back to Pgh and needing regular preventative maintenance done to my 528, I brought it here and was glad I did over a dealer. I had all of my fluids changed and saved a significant amount of money - furthermore, the ground strap on my vehicle was showing early signs of corrosion, and it was recommended that I replace it to prevent future problems that would render my vehicle inoperative. There is a major difference with BMW enthusiasts performing maintenance on your vehicle as opposed to a regular mechanic that doesn’t know (or care to be attentive to) the smaller details of these fine vehicles. Definitely keep Wood’s Werks in mind for your BMW maintenance.

I love my 2012 Mini Cooper and am very hesitant to just let anyone work on it. I needed the air conditioner recharged and did not want to drive into Pittsburgh. Passed Wood's Werks when driving down Rt. 8 and read the reviews. So happy that I decided to give them a try. They fixed the air conditioner. Told me how much it would cost. Very nice, professional, friendly owner and staff. No pressure to buy anything else. They have gained a new customer.

I should start by saying that I am overly particular about my car - to the point that I've tried just about every local shop for my M3 and been let down in one way or another by all of them. Woods Werks broke the trend. When my car is having work done here, I feel like they are being just as careful and thorough as I would be if I knew what I was doing and could do the work myself! If you're a BMW/Mini enthusiast and want a place that appreciates your car as much as you do, Woods Werks is the only option!

I was referred here by a friend and after my first time taking my car there, I won’t take it anywhere else. They explain, in detail, the work that would need done, and explain what really needs fixed. After they’re done, their sales invoices are extremely detailed, labeling everything that was done along with the cost/labor required for each part/repair. They always have my car fixed in a timely manner that works with my schedule. Very honest people, fair pricing, and high-quality work that you won’t find anywhere else for the price. After getting my car back recently from the second time in this shop, I am surprised again by the service. They had my car back to me in no time, and fixed exactly what needed fixed. If you have a BMW or Mini that needs serviced, try this shop out and you will not be disappointed. I can’t say enough about the great experiences I’ve had when they have serviced my car.

These guys saved my bacon! We were in town for Oktoberfest and the PVGP last week with our E30 350 miles from home. On one of the group drives, the 325 began to misfire under any load, and quickly became undriveable. We were in very rural PA by that time but could still get cell service to make a call to AAA and our independent BMW shop back home. They used the bimrs.org website to get in touch with Tyler on a Friday afternoon and he agreed to have Mario (E30 guru and BMW master tech) diagnose the problem and get us underway the same day at a price to good to be true. Look nowhere else for BMW service. We will be eternally grateful, guys. Thanks again!!

I'm so happy with the work done here! I dropped my 07 Mini Cooper S off because it needed quite a bit of work. I just got it back today and it runs better than it has in a long time. It's got over 100k miles on it but it feels brand new. Tyler took his time explaining to both my husband and me what was done on the car, including showing us pics of everything that was done. Unlike other shops, he spoke to both of us, not just my husband, which was very nice. Excellent customer service and attention to detail. I'll definitely be back when my Mini needs service again. I recently purchased an E91 wagon with 165,000 miles on it and brought it in for servicing (a mix of scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting). As with any good shop, Tyler took the time to explain everything that needed to be fixed and what it would cost. However, I was shocked when I went to pick up my car and Tyler went over in detail every thing that was done and showed me before-and-after pictures. In my 25+ years of car ownership, I have never had anyone offer me this level of customer service. Thank you, Tyler! I definitely plan on coming back here for my next servicing!

Tyler is always looking out for what's best for his customers. Coming from another city, I was worried I wouldn't find a mechanic I could trust. However, Wood Werks is completely honest with their work and respectful to the customers. The first time I took my car there, I explained what issues I was having with my vehicle and he said that'd he'd be able to fix it that same day! I work two jobs and rarely have time to drive to a mechanic, so that was a pleasant unexpected surprise.
Also, as I have experienced with other mechanics, Tyler recommended I get something fixed. Unlike other mechanics, it was only ONE thing! He even took pictures on his tablet so he could visually explain to me what's wrong and where the problem is.
I highly recommend any BMW or MINI owner to take their vehicle to Wood Werks! Those guys are great!!!

Detail , detail detail ! Awesome shop for BMW repairs , very detailed . From the first time we took our car there we said we will not be going anywhere else . Prior to taking our car the first time we had already had our car to the dealer for a repair and left with a list of a few other things they said needed to be replaced , after Tyler looked the car he informed us that 1 of the repairs definitely didn't need done . He was honest , showed us exactly what he was referring to. Thoroughly impressed , Top notch to work with !

Great to work with. You talk directly to owner and mechanics. They are transparent, very knowledgeable, and have access to original BMW diagnosis etc. They explain everything in detail and what is wrong or not, they showed me the old defect parts. There was NO BS from some 'service advisor' who has no technical insight and simply wants you to sell as much unnecessary 'repairs' as they can.
So glad I found them and can recommend them highly. Finally I found a good place for all services and repairs for my 328xi (2008, 60k).

One of the best car experiences I've ever had. I live about 5 minutes from a BMW dealership. But I drive 35 minutes out of my way to get my car serviced at Woods Werks, which is more accommodating, has better prices, and does nice work.

Only great things to say about Wood's Werk where I took a used BMW 328i for a pre-purchase inspection. Amazing customer service: available on the phone, friendly, and most importantly very serious and thorough with their work. One thing I particularly appreciated: Tyler took me in the shop and showed me in person what he inspected and what he had found (or not-found in this case, the car was in excellent condition). Also he went through the trouble of writing down everything he saw during the inspection. Overall, terrific experience!!

He even told me a couple of things that would be covered at the dealership under warranty, even though my warranty is up in just a couple of months. Couldn't be happier that this place is now open. Tyler has been extremely helpful with both of my vehicles (2011 BMW X3 & 2011 Saab 9-3). Most recently had work on the Saab and it feels brand new. Although Rahal BMW is a stone throw away from my home, I much rather make the trip into Shaler to have my work done at Wood's Werks. Not only did I save a couple hundred dollars, I also got customer service that can't be beat. I highly recommend this garage.
